Stars, Stripes, & Splatter- A 5K Color Race: July 4  Join us Saturday July 4 for Stars, Stripes and Splatter- A 5k Color Race! This is a color run style event for the whole family with six color stations featuring patriotic colors.
The 3.1 mile course will start at Jazz Live Field on the grounds of Grand Traverse Resort and Spa with all portions of the race staying on Resort property. The race will be comprised of a two loop circuit of the course culminating at an after party with refreshments, music, spray down area, and a group colortoss. Meijer Festival of Races: July 11 
The Meijer Festival of Races presented by Cherry Bay Orchards will again, for the second year, include a Half Marathon and the return of the 15K 10K, and 5K. All four races will take to the start line onSaturday, July 11, 2015 in Traverse City, Michigan – the Cherry Capital of the World.  Back by popular demand, the Chateau Grand Traverse Half Marathon will take runners on a magical journey through the Old Mission Peninsula and downtown Traverse City. The Half Marathon will start at Chateau Grand Traverse, with the first two miles taking runners on a trail run through a working vineyard and cherry orchard. With amazing views of West Grand Traverse Bay along the way, Half Marathon participants will finish in front of thousands of spectators as they run down the DTE Energy Cherry Royale Parade route on Front Street in downtown Traverse City.
Meijer Festival of Races organizers believe that by offering up a wide variety of distances many more participants will find their perfect distance and enjoy the health benefits of getting out and running or walking at one’s own pace. Dune Dash 4 Mile Run Walk: August 15  Just Dune It!
Join us for the fourth annual Dune Dash 4 mile run/walk Saturday, August 15th, 2015. The race course showcases the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail located in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore. Starting and finishing at the base of the Dune Climb in the Sleeping Bear Dunes, runners follow the flat, paved Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail past rolling dunes and beautiful forests to the turn around point at historic Glen Haven. Don't miss your chance to experience what will soon be known as one of the most beautiful scenic runs in Michigan if not the country. Big Little Trail Races: August 22  The Big Little Trail Races are back! Join us on August 22 for a 10K and a 5K manually timed trail race. This off road course is on private trails, woods and two track roads and is only open to the public for this one event each year. These races are a charity fundraiser and all proceeds go to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of NW Michigan.
A technical T-shirt will be provided to each person registering before 8/07/15.  The location of the event is 8088 Palomino Drive, Buckley, MI - 7 miles south of Chums Corner and 1.4 miles west.
