The Great Beerd Run 5K: November 14  Join us at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa for our second Great Beerd Run- a 5k fun run designed to celebrate all things Beer and Beard. This is an untimed run with on course beer tastings provided by Beards Brewery, Short's Brewery and Right Brain Brewery.
There will also be a post-race Beer Tent featuring a Best Beard Contest, race grub, music, and beer. The Best Beard contest will feature prizes for both the best "Natural" and "Assisted" beard. Start Time: 10:00 am
Race Entrance Fee: $40 $40 Registration Fee includes race entrance, knitted beard beanie, race medal, 3 beer samples, one glass of beer during the post-race party and entrance into post-race party. Up North Media Traverse City Turkey Trot: Nov 26  Get your gobble on!
The 8th Annual Up North Media Traverse City Turkey Trot presented by 4Front Credit Union is a great way to spend time with friends and family before your Thanksgiving celebration.

Each day in November we’ll giveaway something fun to someone who is registered for the race and who likes the Turkey Trot on Facebook. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top age group finishers for males and females. All results will be posted at the event as well as on the event website. Event proceeds benefit Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS). As always, canned good donations will be accepted at the event to benefit the TCAPS and St. Francis food pantries. Up North Media Petoskey Turkey Trot: Nov 26  Yes, that's right. There are two Turkey Trot events brought to you by Up North Media this year! Join us in Petoskey for our 2nd Turkey Trot celebration.
The City of Petoskey has enthusiastically awarded their approval for the event that will consist of a 5K Run/Walk that will start and end at Pennsylvania Park downtown. View the race route here! Farmland 5K: December 5  The 4th annual Farmland 5K is December 5th, 2015 at Noon!
As the saying goes... "There's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!"
Run a 5K or ride the "Farmland Free for All", and use a mountain bike, fat bike, cross bike or a single speed over a 10.5 mile 6-loop course. Or you can do both at a combo price! Please note Event is capped to 500 in 2015! (It's kinda popular!)
Both events on mowed turf grass on rolling farmland just East of Traverse City. Followed by complimentary great food, beer, hot chocolate and a festive awards ceremony!
