Big Little Hero Race: April 16  Dig out your superhero costumes for the second annual Big Little Hero Race, put on by the Northwestern Michigan College Business Communications Students. 100% of the proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Michigan. Bring your family, friends, and pets to NMC’s West Hall on Saturday, April 16 at 9AM for a one-mile fun run for the whole family or 10k or 5k race that will be timed by Endurance Evolution. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero for this fun event. Awards will be given for top overall male/female runners, as well as best child, adult, and team costumes.
 Register by April 1 to receive your free race tech t-shirt. Capes will be given to children that participate in the fun run. Stay after and enjoy the post-race festivities. There will be face painting, music, snacks, a silent auction and more.

Crosstown Campus 10K: May 7  A unique and beautiful course travelling across Traverse City from West High School to Central High. There will be options to run in a 10k and a 5k.
All proceeds to benefit the STEP program at Traverse City Area Public Schools – assisting students who are homeless and in transition.
