Remembrance Run/Walk 5K or Adventure Obstacle Course: October 1 The women of the Traverse City Track Club, with the help of our families and friends, organize the Remembrance Run/Walk each year. While the Remembrance Run was established in 1994, we recognized there were many women in our community not only challenged with breast cancer, but also in need of financial assistance for non-medical aspects of their care. Secondary to this need, 1997 saw the birth of northern Michigan’s Women’s Cancer Fund. Every Remembrance Run dollar, above event costs, is donated to the Women’s Cancer Fund. Registration 8:00 - 9:30 am
Health Fair 8:00 - 11:00 am
Silent Auction 8:00 - 11:15 am
Adventure Obstacle Course 9:00 am

8th Annual Zombie Run: October 29 Bring out your dead for the eighth annual Traverse City Zombie Run, October 29th, 2016. The Zombie Run has become a Traverse City Halloween tradition. What's not to like? Zombies and beer have always been a winning combination. Over the years we have seen zombies from all walks of life, or should I say death. Who will show up this year, perhaps Zombie Trump? The only thing we never saw was someone not having a good time! Right Brain Brewery will be hosting the run as always. The run wouldn't be the same without our friends at the Brain, get it? Stick around after the race for the medal ceremony and best costumes prizes. We may have a few other surprises as well. Plus the beer will be flowing, who says you can't drink before noon? Besides, you’re already dead anyway! For more information go to www.tczombierun.com
