InterROCKIN

Entering its 12th year and the 10th at Interlochen State Park, InterROCKIN is located across the street from the world renowned Interlochen Music Camp. Just 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City, and with a great campground right there in the state park, this event has a huge following of athletes who bring the entire family up to camp at the park for the event. And you can spend the whole week in Traverse City, as this event is scheduled conveniently at the end of the Traverse City International Cherry Festival.

The out and back run course cuts right through the campground so dozens of campers can cheer you on at the start and end of your run discipline. The swim is in crystal clear Duck Lake.  The bike course is the flattest part of the entire Grand Traverse County; the only climb at about mile 4 on the course.  Lightly traveled smooth roads make this just a perfect vacation destination event with something for the entire family.
