Registration and Check-in starts at 6 p.m. 
Race starts at 7:15 p.m.

Come light up the night at our first ever Memorial 5K Glow Run in Elk Rapids, MI. Just a few miles north of Traverse City, this cute little waterfront village is the perfect back drop to our family and pet friendly 5K to benefit Hospice of Michigan.

Not a runner? That's ok, you can walk the 5K or you can turn around at the 1 mile marker, whatever makes you the most comfortable. 

The 5K will start at the AMVETS building, 410 Bridge Street, and go through downtown, across the river and out N. Bayshore Dr, then turn around and come back to the AMVETS. We encourage you to bring your family, friends, and dogs!

Best in Glow Contest 6:30 p.m.

Are you the brightest? Wear your brightest clothes, cover yourself in glow sticks, paint your face in glow paint, whatever it takes to win this contest. Register at the event, prizes will be given out for the winners in the following categories:

Best Glow Dog
Best Glow Family
Best Glow Kid (12 and under)
Best Glow Teen (13-19)
Best Glow Adult (20+)

After Glow Party

Join us after the race for a black-light filled party! If your legs aren't too tired you can dance to the music of (TBD), or just hang out with friends and enjoy the music, food, and beverages.

Memorial Tree

Don't forget to stop by our Memorial Tree located inside the AMVETS building. You can write a message, a name, or place a picture on a leaf and place it on the tree to remember your special someone.

Visit the Pet Station

Bringing your four legged friend? Stop by our pet station for a treat and drink of water before and after the race. We have a special photo booth so you can have your picture taken with your furry friend.

Race, Remember, and Fundraise

Through your support, participation, and additional fundraising, more patients will receive the necessary treatments, medications, and services they need at the end of life.

By fundraising you help us to continue to meet the needs of all patients and their families. The funds you raise can help in numerous ways. Not only will they ensure those left behind receive the help they need to cope, they also provide additional support for the unmet needs of patients and their families in Northwest Michigan.
