Run for shelter 5k

Goodwill’s Run For Shelter 5K Run & Walk has become a popular event with runners and walkers throughout Northern Michigan. Perhaps it’s the beautiful course, which runs through slab town, along Grand Traverse Bay and into Hickory Meadows Natural Area. Maybe it’s the fact that all proceeds go directly to the Goodwill Inn, northern Michigan’s largest homeless shelter. Or maybe it’s the fun and friendship everyone shares at the event. Whatever the reason, this year’s Run For Shelter is not to be missed!

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Goodwill Inn. Each $30 registration fee translates to one night of shelter and three square meals for one guest at the Goodwill Inn.

The race takes place on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Registration and packet pick up is held between 8:00-8:45am in the cafeteria. The 5k race kicks off at 9:00 a.m.
