Tahquamenon Falls Snowshoe Race

The Tahquamenon River basin in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula receives epic amounts of lake effect snowfall each winter.  Tahquamenon’s frozen waterfalls together with generous snowfall create an superb venue for this much loved snowshoe race.  All events start at the Upper Tahquamenon Falls. The course is a 5K groomed trail through forested sections of towering old growth white pines, cedar and maple-beech hardwoods.  The 10K course consists of two loops of the 5K course.
